Brandy Woods

As a stay-at-home mom with my daughters in school, I found myself with extra time—and a growing passion for baking and decorating cookies. What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into a dream. I took a job at a local bakery in the small town where I was living, where I served as the baker. Although I loved the work, my heart was set on decorating. I repeatedly asked to be trained, but my skills were needed in the back, baking.

After relocating and leaving that bakery, I decided to take my future into my own hands. I taught myself the art of decorating through online resources, practice, and plenty of trial and error. In October 2016, I began accepting custom orders—and I haven’t looked back since.

Today, Woods Cakery Bakery is built on a love for detail, creativity, and delicious treats made to celebrate life’s special moments. When I’m not decorating cakes and cookies, I’m a wife and a mom to three amazing kids—two daughters and a son—along with our two golden retrievers, who keep life full, joyful, and busy.
